Oregon Trail Futbol Club

ABOUT_
Thank you for your interest in Oregon Trail Futbol (OTFC), the classic soccer program serving the Canby, Oregon City, Beavercreek and South Clackamas County areas. This program is ran by Canby United Soccer Association and represents a partnership of CUSA and OCSC classic programs. Our goal is to provide a quality classic soccer program in the Canby, Oregon City, Beavercreek, Redland and South Clackamas County areas at an affordable price. OTFC was put together with the intent of providing players and parents with a local, convenient and affordable opportunity to play competitive soccer.

OTFC plays within the OYSA Timber/Thorns league. Entry into the OTFC competitive program is based on a yearly tryout which takes place in May. Registration for tryouts opens in April. There are also supplemental tryouts that take place throughout the year based on team needs and space availability. For players who want to play on high school and/or college teams, we provide a competitive, challenging and fun environment for players to learn all technical and tactical aspects of soccer. With experienced coaches, we focus on a structured, developmentally and age appropriate curriculum in order for all players to reach their full potential.

The OTFC competitive program:·

Tryouts take place in May
Player selection and team formation in May
Practice begins in May and continues through November
Summer tournaments start in late June and end in September (TBD based on team schedules)
Fall season within OYSA starts in August and runs through October
Spring season within OYSA begins in February and runs through April

All teams are coached by club coaches. The focus within OTFC competitive programs is centered on player development. This comes from an appreciation for the game, refinement of basic skills, development of more advanced skills, and an understanding of field play, positioning, and more advanced team strategies. All players are mentored and guided through the program giving them the guidance they need to develop well rounded skills.

If you are interested in joining a team outside of the May tryout window, you should email: [email protected] or [email protected] with the Player's Name, Birthdate, and Previous Playing Experience, as well an a contact phone number; if the coach in your age group is interested in adding players they will reach out to you.
